Highclan Jan/Feb Assignment (ENDED)

The Rivers are Rising
"So do you miss not having Faintkit around so much?" Owlpaw asked him with that strange combination of interest and disinterest as they followed their Mentors down the mountain path to the territories, "You two seemed to get on really well in the Nursery?"
Burningpaw shrugged, "Of course, but he'll be an Apprentice next moon, and I can still visit him in the Nursery." Quite a lot of the time he'd spent as a Kit he'd forgotten that Faintkit was actually a moon younger than him and his other brothers, he must be finding it quite tough now, their mother was out of the Nursery as well, which meant Faintkit would have to sleep in that big nest all by himself.
He awoke from his own thoughts to find Owlpaw still looking at him, large blue eyes emphasized further by the pale markings that encircled them.
Rabbitwhisker and Cloverwish were showing them the safest way to get down to the main territory where the best hunting was, and while Burningpa

Assignment Due: February 24th

If you would like to kill your character off in this Assignment, send me a note and I will tell you were it's appropriate to do so, this can count as your Assignment.

Remember the assignment must include:
- Your character as well as another belonging to another RPer.
- Have a background that is not just sky and ground.
- Include a full body picture of at least one character unless the intent is for artistic effect.
- Full effort not just something you ran off in five minuets (Remember I know all your art styles very well, best and worst).
- Stories must be at least 700 words, have spaced paragraphs and two other characters that do not belong to you.
- Yes there is a little license for drama here but please don't go too overboard.

The rivers in the lower parts of Highclan's territory have burst there banks, this means that the lower territory resembles more of a marsh than anything else at the moment. It is impossible to access the Stoneclan, Lightningclan or Leafclan borders at the moment. The flooding has caused a lot of prey to flee which means that aside from the birds that may still be hanging around in the lower territory, Highclan will have to turn to its mountains - the warmer than usual weather has at least ensured there are some hares and birds living up there.

Those however who try and hunt on the lower territory must be wary that the ground is thick with mud and it's easy to get stuck, and we never know when there may be a sudden surge in the size of the rivers. Those in the mountains must remember the eagles, while Highclan often doesn't have to cross paths with them, this is a day they must.

You will be hunting in the lower portion of the territory, be wary of falling into the rivers, the currents will be fast, or getting stuck in the thick mud.

Story Telling
There was a flood almost two years ago in Highclan, only the Senior Warriors (With backgrounds in the Clan) and Mintstripe in the Elder's Den will remember it though. Why don't you go and listen to these tales, I'm sure the Senior Warriors and Mintstripe will be happy to tell them.
